Meet Macie Crabtree, Founder of Aventis
Macie Crabtree, CPA is the founder of Aventis Accounting, where she partners with growing companies as their trusted fractional controller. With a career spanning both in-house and outsourced accounting roles, she combines cross-industry breadth with a tailored, hands-on advisory approach.
Macie has led the end-to-end finance function for multiple holding companies and portfolio businesses, managed multi-million-dollar investment funds, and partnered directly with dozens of CEOs and Managing Partners. She regularly prepares materials for board meetings and investor presentations and, most recently, she helped oversee a $6 million acquisition, guiding due diligence and post-close integration. She primarily serves companies in SaaS, manufacturing, healthcare, and private equity portfolios.
In addition to overseeing core functions like payroll, cash flow, reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting, Macie provides strategic services that help companies scale, including budgeting and forecasting, KPI dashboards, financial modeling, audit preparation, system implementation and more. She is committed to delivering financial clarity, cost savings, and peace of mind to leadership teams who want to focus on growth while trusting that their finances are in good hands.
Macie holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Belmont University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is a Tennessee-licensed CPA and lives outside Nashville with her husband and one-year-old daughter. Macie never passes up a great Mexican restaurant or country music concert, and she loves to bake and decorate cookies in her spare time.
